The Magdalene Series, #2

Amelia, Amelia, what can I say except she’s totally awesome and I wish she was in my life. She had an uphill battle when it came to getting her kids back and being in their life but she never gave up. Her ex-husband is a real piece of work and really needed a beat down. He is a true man who thinks with his lower head instead of the one that has a brain. Amelia might come from money but that does not make her a cold or heartless person, on the contrary she’s quite kind hearted. Her neighbor across the way, Mickey, is a giant panda bear unless you mess with the people he loves. She not only gets close to him but his kids as well and when his daughter starts to fade she does what she can to help, only to get a shock later when she finds out the reason why and it hits too close to home.

I loved the first book in the series and was anxious to read this. As soon as I saw this up on my account I couldn't read it fast enough. Kristen Ashley has such a way with words and really knows how to throw a story together. I’m also glad that she had characters from the first book in as well, it in no way took away from the story or plotline, in my opinion it made it better. I highly, highly recommend this book. I had so much fun reading it, once I got started I couldn’t stop until the end.
