The Promise of Love

The Promise of Love was a great anthology. Great authors and great stories are in this anthology. There is a wonderful mix of styles of writing and storylines. The theme of this anthology is women having stormy pasts and overcoming them. Most of the women have had abuse of some kind in their past that they have worked on dealing with and overcoming. The amazing thing is that the women are able to open themselves up to love after everything that has happened to them. They have left themselves open so that love can work in their life rather than shutting themselves off.

The dialogue is great throughout the different stories. There is sex in all of them and most of them are not that explicit. It varies depending on the story but they are all filled with emotion and add to the story. The characters were great in this anthology. You can connect and feel for them all.
