Welcome back to Gilt Edge, Montana in "Cowboy's Legacy". This is part of a series but can also be read alone. Almost all of the characters in this story are known from previous stories. References are made about the vandalism and a fire that were in a previous story but what you really need to know is given to you in this one. This story is wonderful and combines romance with mystery. And, even though this is a small town, there are some secrets that no one knows about. To get all of the answers, you’re going to have to visit North Dakota. Don’t expect the obvious to be the answer because it isn’t. The suspense and build up to the end are perfect. You really feel as if you are there and part of the action. What is even better, while the main story is going on with the main characters, other side stories are also happening. That makes this a very complex and full story that you will find hard to put down. I know I kept reading until I finished it once I started. It was that good.
Flint knows he wants to marry Maggie but isn’t sure how to convince her. She won’t even move in with him. But, then, suddenly Maggie changes her mind. This would be great except Flint’s ex-wife has something against Maggie and she knows Maggie is moving in. When Maggie disappears as soon as she starts moving things into Flint’s house, everything points to Flint’s ex. Could she really kidnap Maggie? But, if it isn’t her, who could it be?
Nothing will stop a Cahill cowboy from protecting what’s his
After a rocky marriage and even rockier divorce, Sheriff Flint Cahill finally has something good in his life again. Maggie Thompson’s down-to-earth charm and beautiful smile hooked him from the start. When she disappears on the day they plan to start their lives together, all signs point to abduction—and his ex-wife.
Functioning on adrenaline and instinct, Flint must call on his every resource to bring Maggie home before it’s too late. His past and future are blurred. Maggie’s only chance at surviving her abductor and a raging winter storm depends on an old vendetta that could destroy it all. But the Cahills don’t give up easily, and Flint’s love will have to be strong enough to conquer anything, including the unimaginable.
