I love visiting Holiday, TX and "Cowboy Christmas Jubilee" was not an exception. The characters are well thought out and fun to read about. Jinx is a hard living independent woman who doesn’t trust easily but has a moral code she won’t break. Cash is from a large loving family and will protect those he considers his from everything he can. That includes his young daughter that will win your heart even though she’s good at getting into mischief. With all the family and friend interaction you quickly feel as if you know everyone and that you would know this town sight unseen. It is a typical small town where everyone knows everyone and everyone’s business but they also help out as much as they can. I love it! This romance is perfect for Christmas but it will warm your heart no matter what the season.
Jinx has got to leave her job. She hasn’t been paid, doesn’t want anything to do with the owner and especially doesn’t want to get mixed up with the drug business he’s running on the side. She has a friend who says Jinx can have a job if she can get herself to New Orleans. Though it’s old, she knows she has to take her father’s Harley. Unfortunately, the bike breaks down on the way to New Orleans and Jinx doesn’t have the money to fix it. Finding a job and a place to stay until she has the money and it is fixed is her priorities. The deputy who gives her a lift to the garage is noisy, as well as good looking. Jinx isn’t sure how she’s going to stay away from him but she is. That is until she learns she’s working for his sister!
Merry Christmas from your new friends in Holiday, Texas:
The most celebratory town in the South!
When Jinx Jacobs's motorcycle breaks down outside Holiday, Texas, the last thing she wants is to get stuck in the cheery little town, especially during the holidays. The whole place has gone Christmas crazy, but all she has to do is stay out from under the mistletoe—and do her best to keep that unnervingly attractive cop off her back.
Single dad and sheriff's deputy Cash Walker doesn't have time for romance, and yet something about the tempting loner twists his stomach up tighter than a tangle of tinsel. He may have finally found the missing piece in his life...but with Jinx so determined to avoid putting down roots, convincing her to stay may just take a Christmas miracle.
