FORGOTTEN SEA takes a bit of a detour and doesn't initially focus on the familiar characters from World's End. Lara is a fallen angel that has the ability to detect others of her kind. She spots Justin Miller and her radar goes off but not in a manner that is typical when she is detecting one with magic. Not sure if her inexperience is the reason for the confusion, Lara attempts to lure Justin away so that she can question him further about his origins.
Justin has no clue why the beautiful woman has chosen him to pick up and flirt with but he's not one to say no to a willing woman. The meeting doesn't go as planned, leading the two on a journey that will be full of discovery for Lara as a woman and Justin's past. Without giving away any spoilers, readers will be surprised when they realize who Justin is. The story ebbs and flows with the level of intensity until matters heat up on World's End.
I loved watching the relationship between Lara and Justin though I will confess to loving Justin's character more. The plot is a good one with the menfolk's, the battle with the demon entities and the angel's sudden appearance in this series. I do love Virigina Kantra's paranormal reads but must confess I'm wondering if she will venture back into contemporary romance or romantic suspense.
Fallen angel Lara Rho is desperate to prove herself a seeker by rescuing the restless sailor Justin Miller. He's no angel, but she is irresistibly drawn to him-and is soon drawn into an adventure of danger and discovery.
