A Gentleman Says "I Do"

A Gentleman Says "I Do" is a light, charming historical romance set in Regency England. While it is part of a series, I really believe this book can be enjoyed on its own. With likeable characters and lively dialogue, Amelia Grey, pulls the reader into a world where one’s family name, financial standing and place in society can make or break a person’s future. While Iverson Brentwood is a flawed hero; hot headed, quick to act, and lacking in foresight, he’s devoted to those he loves and when he meets Catalina Crisp, he falls head over heels in love with his “enemy’s” daughter.

Catalina and Iverson are the perfect foils for each other; their weaknesses highlight each other’s strength. While Iverson tends to act rashly and sometimes says things he later regrets, Catalina’s reserve helps to temper his behavior. A young, beautiful and independent woman, Catalina is just what this “rogue” deserves. I’m looking forward to reading the next installment in this series, which I hope will feature Matson, Iverson’s quieter brother.

Determined to preserve his family’s honor, Iverson Brentwood will do whatever it takes to remove his family’s name from London’s gossip pages. Confronting Sir Phillip Crisp is just the first step in his plans. Unfortunately, he wasn’t counting on meeting his perfect match in Catalina Crisp. What else’s is a rogue to do but fall in love when confronted with a desirable intelligent woman who’s the perfect match?

Book Blurb for A Gentleman Says "I Do"

Burgeoning author Catalina Crisp completes a parody involving twins Iverson and Matson Brentwood's scandalous arrival in London and publishes it under her father's name. When the writing hits the town, it's not long before a darkly handsome man--Lord Iverson Brentwood himself--is at her door, looking for her father with blood in his eyes. Dallying with the dashing rogue seems like the perfect escape...and it should calm him down enough to leave her father alone. But Catalina does the exact opposite--she heats him up like no other woman ever has...
