Home is Where the Hunk is

Home is Where the Hunk is will enchant readers. It’s a great read. It had just the right amount of passion and angst along with some really interesting twists in the plot. The author did a great job of portraying the characters and the setting in small town Montana. This is a story about deception and finding new love. I found that once I picked it up I couldn’t stop reading and wound up finishing it up in a day!

Ali and Evan make a fantastic pair, even though things are a bit complicated in the beginning. Evan is a widower with a young son and when his sister in law Ali comes home from assignment, against their better judgment, the sparks fly. Their relationship is a fragile thing but the chemistry that the two have between each other is palpable and real. I loved their story. The author did a great job of keeping the characters seeming real. They had flaws and underlying issues, together they conquered these. It may have taken some forgiveness on both parts but it was wonderful to read about.

I also absolutely adored Cody, he was so cute and he played such a large part in Evan and Ali’s relationship.

All in all this was a great read. If you like a good romance, where the characters have to work for their relationships, then this would be the perfect book to pick up and read. It was funny, sweet, romantic and hot, it was frustrating at times as well as sad at just the right moments. It was the whole package. I hope that you enjoy this book as much as I did!
