Kieran and Craig might be have been thrown together by circumstances but the attraction burning between them is hot and sizzling although the relationship is hampered by secrets and the investigation which has quite a bit of emotional turmoil adding depth to the story, especially as he is an FBI agent and she has a less than lawful past. The characters are strong, compelling and grab the reader’s attention right from the start and the plot is fast paced and flows smoothly with suspense, excitement and romance.
Un-stealing a flawless jewel is nerve racking enough, getting caught in a jewelry heist adds lots of adrenaline pumping excitement to the story as it adds to the secrets between Kieran and Craig and that’s not to mention all the heart stopping suspense and action when Kieran somehow becomes a target. Lots of twists and engaging suspects adds to the intrigue and keeps readers guessing until the very end which really keeps the readers on the edge. Each and every scene is full of vivid details that make it easy for the reader to picture them and to become engrossed in the story as well as bringing the characters to life.
The New York diamond district setting as well as the Irish pub setting adds great ambiance to the story and makes a great background. The Finnegan Family and their friends also adds to the story because they are an intriguing group of people with quite a history which captures the imagination.
