Millie Switkowski, RN and medical student, returns home to Bear Paw for her clinical rotation. While home, she seems to easily slip back into the comfortable routine of being "just one of the guys" when she's out with her male friends. But she's tired of being in that role with them. Especially when it comes to being around Will Bartlett, a charming Australian doctor that Millie has had a crush on for sometime. When she surprisingly finds out that Will is her supervising physician, things get very interesting quickly. Does Will finally see Millie as an interesting prospect instead of just one of the guys?
I enjoyed this second book in the Medicine River Series and I found myself feeling bad for Millie that all her male friends just saw her as plain Millie - not someone they would consider dating. I knew she had a deep crush on Will for a long time and I just hoped they knew what they were doing when they were together. I didn't want to see Millie open up about how she felt for him and see him then tear her heart out. If you're looking for a book to get lost in for a few hours, you might want to check this one out!
