Can't Hide from Me

This was an action packed story about ATF agent Charlie Hunter who's team is on an extraction mission to get an undercover agent out of a bad situation. Charlie's world implodes when he realizes the undercover agent is his ex Angel Medina who he hasn't seen in years. Charlie and Angel's relationship ended badly and neither are up to dealing with the other. As Angel tries to put his undercover nightmare behind him he finds he has another serious problem. He's picked up a stalker. The two men try to work their new cases with the bad blood between and the pressure Angel's currently under.

This was a fast paced adventure as well as a love story. There was a lot of action in this as well as a lot of steam. Charlie and Angel may have had bad communication outside of the bedroom but they were smoking hot inside of it. I figured out who the stalker was early on in the story but I don't think that negatively effected my enjoyment of the book. The romance was angsty for much of the story but the ending was very sweet.

This was a new author for me and overall I was really pleased with this story and I will definitely try this author again.

Charles Hunter's team is on a mission to extract an unidentified ATF agent from an undercover job gone wrong. All they've got to go on is the rendezvous location-until Charles recognizes the ex he hasn't seen in years. Their "simple rescue mission" is about to get a lot more complicated.

For Angel Medina, adjusting to life after his cartel nightmare is hard enough without confronting memories of a failed relationship. All he wants is a fresh start. But when a violent stalker lashes out from the shadows, Angel realizes his nightmare is far from over.

As the stalker's obsession escalates and bodies start dropping, Charles and Angel are thrown together in a desperate search for the culprit. Tempers flare and old passions reignite, drawing them back into the same turbulent relationship that once ended in disaster.

But the stalker isn't letting go-and the next strike might hit straight through the heart. "
