Don't Judge a Book By Its Magic

The Convergence #1

The author has created a paranormal romance tale that kept me reading way into the night wondering what was going to happen next to Colleen, the heroine of this tale. I hope this is the wonderful start to a new series of books starring this independent, gutsy woman who is just starting her life as a Teimydduus (a magical person) because I would like to read more about Colleen, her abilities, and what else happens to her! I loved the wonderful secondary characters in this book; Tracy, Kim, Professor Gina Taiko, and many others who make this tale come to life! The dialogue between the characters and the pacing of this book kept the story flowing to the end of the book. The author has added some attention-grabbing real life photographs to this book that are in or near the city of Seattle, Washington which is the setting of this tale.

What would you do if suddenly you could see magic floating all around you then someone grabs your arm and drags you into a building which has people who tell you that you are a Teimydduus? Then they tell you cannot go back to your old life because you are too dangerous to be around anybody, including your family, without some type of magical training? This is just the start of what happens to Colleen when she was told that she was “broadcasting” (radiating Tximar, which is free-flowing life power) to everyone around her which is a huge blunder because it shows how much power you have to the evil beings in this tale. Keep reading to find out what else happens to Colleen in this tale!

Book Blurb for Don't Judge a Book By Its Magic

Colleen is a normal girl. She loves shoes, chick flicks, and cute clothes. The only thing abnormal about her is that she’s just become a magician; not the disappearing bunny kind, but the power-shooting-out-of-your-hands kind of magician.

Her problem now is that she doesn't believe in magic. Well, she believes in it. She's seen it shoot out of her own hands, but she opposes it in a moral sense; no hexes, no spells, no incantations, no potions, no amulets, no tomes, no casting circles, no eye of newt, none of that. She has to be very clear because people pressure her about it. Whatever they say about “how it’s done,” this is a morality issue for her and she will not cave in to their pressure.

Join Colleen at Seattle Pacific Regional University, where she becomes a part of The Convergence. She'll learn the freaky side of Work Study, Financial Aid, and Vyxhepiocht. Seriously, she's never seen so many hot guys. It's going to be wild!
