If you’re in the market looking to add a new puppy to your family or if you already have one and just need a few questions answered regarding your four-legged friend, then this is a great book to invest in.
The book is broken down into three sections: Buying your Dog, Raising your Dog and Living with your Dog. These two authors have answered a long list of questions which you might need some answers to. They explain everything in proper terms, but rest assured they also follow up with layman’s language for any of you novices just learning the ropes.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and walked away feeling that any reader would be satisfied with the answers they found to their questions. There are plenty of links provided to follow up with additional information to a particular question you might have, a list of addresses to write to dog clubs for more information, a suggested reading list if you’d like to further your canine knowledge some more and there’s even a glossary provided to explain what certain abbreviations stood for that were used. I even enjoyed the adorable graphics they used throughout the pages that added a touch of humor to the book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to buy a dog or who might already own one and need a few questions answered. This would make a fantastic reference guide to add to your canine owner’s library.
