This is the beginning of a new werewolf series that promises to be phenomenal. We are introduced to Dmitry and his pack on the search for answers to the reason behind their dwindling population and lack of female mates to their males. He might have found the answers to his packs problem in his own mate. Slight problem, she is a fragile human. That is her only weakness, for she has a psychic ability that no one can match. She has the attitude and protective instincts that will make her the perfect match to Dmitry.
While Dmitry is gone on an assignment problems arise at home in the form of some rogue wolves who are stealing other males mates. This results in unrest and even murder in his pack. Can Dmitry and Violet combine their strengths to help resolve the unrest in his pack, as well as the growing problem of lack of females to the males? You'll have to pick up this book and find out for yourself.
This was an excellent beginning to what I believe will prove to be an excellent series. The author pulled me in from page one. I cannot wait for the next one in this series. I look forward to reading the continuing adventures of the Siberian Volkov Pack.
