Current Release: My Spartan Hellion

Describe your current release in two sentences?

When a spirited, Carthaginian slave and a noble Spartan general are thrust together, passion flourishes between the unlikely pair. But is passion enough to weather the turmoil of treachery, war and murder brewing in Ancient Sparta?

Please describe your writing environment.

A little disorganized and cluttered but still neat enough to find everything I need! I have two cats, Sage and Cayenne, and my home office is also their space so they are always curled up nearby when I sit down to write.

What are you working on?

Currently, I'm working on the final books in two of my popular series, The Red Velvet Rope and Downing Brothers Series

What do you feel blessed with?

Good health, wonderful family and friends, and a rewarding career

What was your childhood ambition?

I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but my vision is terrible so that ambition ended rather quickly!

What is your favorite TV show?

What career fields have you worked in?

Politics and Academia

What are your plans for the summer? Any books you are looking forward to?

I just released a few books in June so I am taking a break from writing for about a month to travel and enjoy a much needed vacation

How was your road to publication?

I believe I have had a pretty good experience in this industry. I self-published my first novel, then was fortunate enough to have my second novel contracted by Liquid Silver Books. I eventually obtained an agent and published a Christmas themed erotic romance with Penguin. My agent eventually left the agency, and with her went one of my biggest champion's for my work so I too left the agency. For awhile I struggled with what to do next, but all the while I continued writing. As a result, I am a bestselling author of more than thirty titles and have turned my hobby into a pretty lucrative part-time career.

If you could time travel, where would you travel to and why?

Anyplace during Antiquity

Being a published author is both a passion and a privilege. I get to connect with many wonderful readers who inspire me everyday and I want to thank them for all of their support since I started out writing.
