Hi Romance Besties,
Tammie here along with romance author Teri Anne Stanley. Teri has a quick dog treat recipe for y'all and it only has 3, yes 3, ingredients. So lets get these in the oven and into your dog's mouth. Plus don't forget to enter to win a copy of Teri's current release, Lucky Chance Cowboy. It's the second book in the Big Chance Dog Rescue series and involves a soldier and the sister of a friend.
A Big Chance, Texas Three Ingredient Dog Treat Recipe
Emma woke up the other night to hear Marcus banging around in her kitchen. Turns out he was baking dog biscuits for the pups! Here’s his recipe:
Pre-heat oven to 325 F
Mix the bananas and peanut butter in a bowl, and slowly add flour until firm dough forms. Roll to about ¼ inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
Put on lightly oiled or parchment paper covered cookie sheet and pop them in the oven. If your special someone happens to wake up in the middle of the baking process, and distracts you (wink wink) from your very important work, just turn the oven off and let the biscuits cool with the oven—this should firm them up nicely (otherwise take them out at the end of 15-20 minutes and let them cool completely before storing)
At Big Chance Dog Rescue, everyone can find a forever home
Marcus Talbott is a soldier through and through, and he's not going to let an injury keep him from his Army unit. Sure, he nearly broke his back, but that's nothing his positive attitude and work ethic can't fix, right? In the meantime, he's got a place on the board at the Big Chance Dog Rescue, and flirting with his friend's sassy sister, Emma, is a welcome distraction_.
Emma Stern is barely scraping by while working and caring for her elderly grandfather, but she's running out of options—and hope. The last thing she has time for is Marcus and his flirting, sexy as he might be. But every time Emma thinks she's reached the end of her rope, Marcus is there to lend a hand. Maybe there's more to the handsome playboy after all...
The lucky print book winner is: Tina Myers
When Teri Anne Stanley isn’t writing sassy, sexy, love stories from her home near Sugartit, Kentucky (which is between Beaver Lick and Rabbit Hash. Seriously), she’s probably doing some sort of arsty-crafsty thing and hanging with Mr. Stanley, her three favorite children, and the dogs. Sometimes she’s masquerading as a day job science geek. She’s definitely not cooking or cleaning.
