5 Qualities of a Bad Bachelor
There’s a fine line with bad boys, right? A devil-may-care attitude can be sexy and freeing, but I don’t want my heroes to veer into the nasty side of the alpha camp. Alphas, good. Alpholes…not so much.
So what qualities does an ideal Bad Bachelor have?
They walk into a room and all heads turn toward them. You’ll never accidently bypass a Bad Bachelor in a crowd. This means they’d push you out of your comfort zone, possibly even setting the spotlight on you. Don’t worry, confidence is contagious, and with a Bad Bachelor on your arm, you’ll feel on top of the world.
Bad Bachelors reach for the stars and want their heroines to do the same. Love a guy who lifts you up? These heroes will want you to have everything your heart desires and more. There’s nothing sexier than seeing a hot guy work hard for his dreams, right? Deadbeats need not apply to the Bad Bachelor club.
A Bad Bachelor might not always do things that seem “good” in the eyes of the world. But anything bad they do will have an important reason. Often, it’s because they’re trying to take care of someone they love—they’re just better at taking action than they are at saying it aloud.
Knowing Their Worth
A Bad Bachelor always knows when they’re at the top of their game and they expect to be treated as such. Arrogant? Yeah, a little. But a guy who knows his worth won’t ever settle for something that isn’t exactly what he wants. Which means our heroines can rest assured that they are the single most precious thing on the earth to their Bad Bachelor.
A Bad Bachelor isn’t afraid to take risks. They don’t care what people think and always work toward their goals, being creative and fast-thinking as challenges are thrown their way. A guy who likes to experiment is sure to have plenty of benefits outside working hours too…if you’re into that kind of thing ;)

Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. Her favourite activity was going shopping with her Nan during school holidays, where she would sit on the floor of the bookstore with her little sister and painstakingly select the books to spend her allowance on. Thankfully, Nan was a patient woman.
Thus, it was no surprise Stefanie was the sort of student who would read her English books before the semester started. After sneaking several literature subjects into her ‘very practical’ Business degree, she got a job in Communications. When writing emails and newsletters didn’t fulfil her creative urges, she turned to fiction and was finally able to write the stories that kept her mind busy at night.
Now she lives with her very own hero and dreams of travelling the world. She frequently indulges in her passions for good coffee, French perfume, high heels and zombie movies. Recently she gave up her day job to write sexy, contemporary romance stories and she couldn’t be happier.
