Michele Bardsley weaves a mystical tale of magic and romance in Immortal Curse. It tells the tale of three Viking brothers: Alrek, Ulfr, and Thorr, who are put under a witches curse for all time doomed to walk the earth as immortals. The reason was that they failed to protect their wives and the village from attacks as promised. Aleia and her daughter died and Delicia was missing. Jantra cursed them to be Immortal and taught them their magic so that she and her daughters would always live on. But so that was their punishment doomed to walk forever in our midst.
The Tale is split into the story of each brother and how each lives. It starts out with Alrek and how he meets Charron and their attraction to each other. Where Thorr explains to Alrek how he has found out information that Delicia lived on and had children, and that they can mate with the descendants of her line namely twin girls. Next she tells Ulfr and Rojas's story and how they came to be together and of her sister Azure meeting Thorr. The story is then told of Thorr and his relationship with Azure and how she ended her life, and why. It also tells of how he meets Mia Simon and how the whole story what comes to light with them.
Michele never ceases to amaze with any of her stories and she definitely didn't stop with this one. Each and every character was written with depth and red-hot appeal. You won't put this one down once you start reading it; page after page is spicy and entertaining. It is truly one for the keeper shelves.
Once they were Vikings who abandoned the old ways, seeking lives of peace and prosperity in an unknown land. Now they're vampires, immortals cursed by the witch of a dying race. For a millennium they've lived lonely lives, preying on mortals, trying to hold on to the last remnants of their humanity.
Alrek Once a great leader, he left Greenland's shores with his best friends to start over…only to lose his wife and baby daughter. In modern times, he lives only for his own pleasure…until he finds Charron — the woman who may finally end his suffering.
Úlfr Tucked away in a remote village of Mexico, Úlfr is the "Dark One". To assuage his hunger for blood and pleasure, he accepts the sacrifices offered by the locals. Until he is offered the beautiful virgin Roja — the very woman who can save his soul.
Thórr In his human life, Thórr had been a spiritual man, the conscience and hope for his brethren. But not even he is prepared for Mia, who believes she is not only his lifemate but the reincarnation of his long-lost love.
