Wesley, Beck and Jase are just hilarious. You can tell that they have been friends for a long time and watch out for each other. Harlow is just a sweetheart who had her life changed by a very cruel fate when she and her mother went shopping. Growing up with a verbally abusive father let her know she had the power to control people and she used that control to her advantage by being a bully in school. When Beck finds out she's homeless and living in a tent on his property and stealing pies to eat, he moves her into an RV and gives her a job in his company.
This book was just great although I really wanted to shake Beck, it took him so long to figure out what he wanted from Harlow and where they were going. At times it was maddening. I can't even imagine being kicked out of my house and having the whole town turn against me and refuse to give me a job. Harlow was a true survivor and I thank god that Beck chose to follow her that day and change her life. He was like her guardian angel. Dorian is an interesting person to and I would love to know his story.
