Soft and silky like a rose petal, not words you hear very often but that's what Chad uses to describe Beth the first time they sleep together. Beth being a werewolf takes some getting used to. She's unstable at the start and changes when she gets pissed. She's not only being attacked by evil werewolves but her ex seems to be their alpha and wants her.
More Than She Bargained For was an interesting read and fast paced. Lily made me laugh. Steve was a pain in the ass and her friend Kelsey was kind of irritating. We know you have a baby you don't have to keep repeating it or make Beth feel bad. It's not her fault she's being attacked by werewolves and who in their right mind would think it would happen in a freaking spa? Chad and Beth both have father issues but when you think about, who doesn't?
Beth Klause has dated a lot of jerks. She wants her roommate, Chad Nickels, to be different. No doubt they have chemistry, but he doesn’t want a serious relationship. She hopes he changes his mind, even after she becomes a werewolf. It doesn’t help that her ex-boyfriend, Steve, still won’t stop inferring with her life. Will she be able to get rid of her ex for good, or will Steve destroy any chance of her ending up with Chad?
Stands Alone: Yes
