Hunter's Mark

Beyond Fairytales series, #8

Being hunted is never fun but that is exactly what happens to Casey after he loses control and shifts. He's got a fluffy little Pomeranian named Priss that he truly adores. Let me just say, in what world does a guy have a dog like that? Casey pulls it off though and he's truly adorable.

When Hunter realizes that killing Casey breaks his rules he initiated Princess Protocol and protects said mark. It's not easy though because from the start he was attracted to Casey and it's not like anybody else will want to take a shot at him. Two million is a lot of money and just because Hunter has specific rules doesn't mean that others will.

I enjoyed reading this. I'm a big fan of shifter stories so this was great. The attraction was there from the start and boy was it steaming. I was drawn in from the moment that Hunter realized Casey had a small dog with him. And then I was wrapped in the story to the end. It was a nice adventure.

Book Blurb for Hunter's Mark

Artist Casey Smith lives a quiet life, under the radar of his enemies, until one fateful night he loses control and the astonishing image of a wolf racing down a suburban street splashes all over social media.

Hunter’s bullet never misses its target. The assassin seeks out and kills his prey with a clear conscience by following two simple rules: 1) Don’t kill innocents. 2) Don’t kill shifters.

Realizing his latest assignment violates those rules, the hunter activates Princess Protocol and the assassin becomes the protector. Red hot attraction flares between the hit man and his former target. Can Hunter resist the sweet shifter in his care?
