This book is very well written with a very realistic plot. The main and secondary characters were fascinating and exciting. The ending of the story was a bit predictable but this book is more focused on the relationship between Jenna and Roman. Overall, this was a great book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Jenna Cooper is a pastry chef. Her family business is failing and her parents are going to sell it. All Jenna has wanted in life is to own, work, and run that business. Therefore, Jenna takes a trip across the country to an old friend of her brothers to help her turn the family restaurant around. Jenna is a strong and driven woman.
Roman Gallagher is chef that works for his mother’s empire turning restaurants around. In the last 6 years, Roman turned a dozen around. He is a driven man at work and seems to be a playboy outside of work. Roman has a hard and fast rule that he does not break, until Jenna turns up on his door. Don’t sleep where you eat.
The connection between Roman and Jenna is intense. It was very interesting to see Roman and Jenna try to fight their attraction to each other. The sex scenes are passionate.
Seducing the Playboy is the second book in the Hot Nights series by Amanda Usen. This book might be part of a series, but it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with ease.
