Chasing Mrs. Right

Book 2 in the Come Undone series

‘Chasing Mrs. Right’ is the second book in the Come Undone series by Katee Robert. Ian has returned after being in the military for over a decade, and he is having a hard time adjusting. Roxanne is Ian’s sister’s best friend. She has a fear of relationships. Now Ian has to convince Roxanne to give him a chance.

The chemistry between Ian and Roxanne is explosive. Both Ian and Roxanne felt the connection immediately. I loved how both characters complemented each other.

The author did a great job portraying post-traumatic stress disorder that Ian is suffering from. I loved how she included a range of reactions and emotions to Ian’s behavior. The only grip I have was the author never went into Ian receiving any treatment for dealing with PTSD.

Roxanne has her own emotional issue. She has serious commitment issues due to her family history. I enjoyed how each had to battle not only themselves but also each other’s issues.

The sex scenes were hot and steamy. You could feel the emotional connection that both Ian and Roxanne held for each other. Roxanne and Ian were very realistic characters.

The book moved at a great pace. I loved the ending. Overall, I enjoyed this book very much. This will be going on my keeper shelf! Now I will be picking up the first book in the series. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
