Bondage Virgins

Bessie Mae Baxter was raised very prim and proper. She know nothing about sex but as her birthday arrives she is bent on changing her life and breaking the chains her mother tried to impose on her. Reece is back in town to take over the family business and help his uncle take some time off. As Reece takes a break at a local club her starts to notice his administrative assistant and how he is attracted to her.

The beginning of the story leaves you wanting to know more about the characters and the story. By the end of the first chapter, I excited to finish the book. The author did a good job of drawing the reader in to her world. The world she created was very realistic as well as interesting. The pace of the story was a bit slow in the beginning but picked up steam as the story goes along.

The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating and realistic. Both Bessie and Reece had faults and issues to overcome before they could face having a relationship together. The point of view alternated between Bessie and Reece, giving the reader a glimpse inside both characters. The changing point of view was done with care so the reader did not get lost or repeat story lines. The main issue of the story is that Bessie is coming out of the shell that her mother tried to wrap her in. Reece learns not to judge a book by its cover. The characters seemed to fit the story as well as their place in the story. I loved that there was a nice balance of romance and self-discovery. The dialogue between the characters was genuine and distinctive. The characters voice matched not only the setting but fit their overall personality. The ending was a bit predictable but the author takes the reader on a wonderful journey. I hope we get to see these characters again in the future.
