Blue Boy, #3

Bold is the third book in the Blue Boy series by Garrett Leigh. While this book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with ease.

Kai is a blond, delectable man who everyone seems to love. Kai is dyslexic which has led him to drop out of high school but he believes he is not smart so he never really tries. His view of his self-worth is very low and it does not help that his mother did not really like him. Kai seems to keep a lot hidden from everyone around him.

Matthew is a sweet man who is also super smart. He has a plan for why he is doing what he is doing. Matthew seems to be the opposite of Kai but he accepts Kai and wants to help Kai succeed. While we don’t get to really know much more about Matthew, I wish we did.

The connection between Matthew and Kai is very intense. They make a great match together. They communicate well together and don’t keep any secrets from each other. Matthew never let Kai feel less them himself for his dyslexia. The sex scenes were scorching.

This book is well written. The plot was a little too boring. There was little story between Matthew and Kai beyond creating a scene for their next porn movie. The ending is a bit predictable but it was interesting to see Matthew and Kai come together. The main characters and the secondary characters were charming. Overall, I loved this book.

Book Blurb for Bold

Dancer Kai is the sweetheart of Blue Boy Studio. Cute and petite, he’s the slender bottom every top loves to pound. But nothing is ever quite as it seems, and beneath his golden curls and giggles lies something else…an edge no one can quite put their finger on.

Is Kai bored? Or does he crave something more?

Blue Boy Studio is under new ownership. Veteran porn star Jude has seen it all before, and with the help of Kai’s mentor, Cam, they figure Kai needs a change. Enter Matthew, a fellow dancer and the newbie on the block.

Kai isn’t impressed. Matthew is hot, but Jude and Cam’s plans seem beyond his reach. Can Kai really do…that? He doesn’t believe it, but with Matthew along for the ride, it’s time to be bold and find out.
