Bound

The Bound Tetralogy, 1

Bound will captivate you from beginning to end. I couldn’t put it down once I began reading it! I came to the end, and had to flip back a few pages, and try to flip forward again, thinking I might’ve missed something. But no, it was indeed the end, of book 1 any way! I was trying to figure out what Isaac was. Turns out all theories I had were wrong! I’m not going to tell and spoil it for other readers, but I will definitely be on the lookout for more of Danielle E. Gauwain!

It’s so hard to summarize the book without giving it away, but I’ll try. Isaac longs for Liz, but Liz had been hurt before and doesn’t want to let anyone in. She finally lets Isaac in, only to have him run from her. After Isaac had been gone a year, he came back, realizing that he couldn’t live without Liz. Liz however wants answers, which Isaac agrees to. Liz is not prepared in any way for what Isaac is however and runs. Isaac gives her space, thinking she will come back, but Liz isn’t sure what to do. It makes your own heart ache, just to imagine what Liz and Isaac feel for each other.

Book Blurb for Bound

“I am your heaven. I am your hell. I’m under your skin, in your veins, in your soul. I am everywhere.”

Liz Triest just moved into a row house in an historic neighborhood of Albany, New York. After a break up with her fiancé of seven years, she is determined to make a fresh start, and most of all, never to fall in love again. But even Liz’s self-protecting walls built from a broken heart are not strong enough to withstand the unrelenting force of the beautiful, mysterious, and supernatural Isaac Ainsley.
