Shadowed: Alaskan Flame is a short by Kate Hill. It’s a good quick read that you won’t be able to put down until you've finished reading it. Kate writes everything from sweet romances to scorching hot erotica. This is one of her hotter books, and I thoroughly enjoyed every word of it.
Oliver is the offspring of a fallen angel and a sex demon that has risen to the rank of a shadowing angel. A shadowing angel is usually a former demon who has made the choice to fight evil, rather than be evil. Oliver has a little trouble in the beginning of the story, so he contacts Rutendo, the leader of the shadowing angels for help. Unlike Oliver, Rutendo is a pure warrior angel. Rutendo sends Henrie, an experienced shadowing angel to help Oliver. She is a former demon who worked her way up the ranks as well. Thankfully she is able to help Oliver overcome his problems, which turn out not to be completely his fault. Because this is a short, I can’t say much more without giving out spoilers.
The son of a sex demon and a fallen angel, Oliver struggles to keep his libido under control while on duty as a shadowing angel in the wilderness of Alaska. He needs help and it arrives in the form of a sexy, no-nonsense former demon.
Henrie, a shadowing angel with experience, is the perfect woman to assist a man desperate to regain his self-control. What she discovers is he actually needs to cut loose, especially on the evil forces that are secretly plotting to destroy him.
