This was the first book by Jodi Linton that I have read but it won’t be the last. I can’t wait to see what Deputy Laney Briggs gets up to next. This book is well written, enjoyable, sexy, and smart. I really enjoyed the interaction between characters and the note that it ends on is just icing on the cake. Colt Larsen, though not the main hero was a great complimentary character for both Gunner and Laney. I will definitely be buying the subsequent books in this series. This one is a stand-alone so don’t be afraid to pick it up and enjoy a cowboy or two.
Deputy Laney Briggs is having a day to end all days. Not only has she found the high school football coach in a compromised position, and to top off a crazy day she now finds a Federal Marshal is in town and snooping around the Granger’s house. Soon Laney is in over her head and she knows there’s only one person she can turn to, Texas Ranger Gunner Wilson. Gunner is on board with helping Laney out. By on board he means he’s willing to fulfill her every desire. But as things start to get hot for Laney and Gunner the case gets even more complicated and they both realize they may not be getting out of this adventure alive.
A thrilling suspense from Entangled’s Ignite imprint…
Some cowboys are worth getting dirty for.
In her latest adventure, sassy Deputy Laney Briggs discovers the local high school football coach passed out under the stadium bleachers wearing nothing but a smile…and his wife’s lingerie.
Things really start to get wild when she runs into the smoking hot Federal Marshal, Colt Larsen, snooping around the Granger’s house. Quicker than a cold snap comes and goes in Texas, Laney finds herself up to her eyeballs in a case involving a ruthless motorcycle gang, a Mexican drug cartel, a kidnapping, and a shoot-out to rival the O.K. Corral.
In over their heads, Laney calls in the big guns—her very own Texas Ranger, Gunner Wilson, who’s ready to fulfill every last one of her desires. But as things heat up between them, the stakes get higher than ever, and Gunner’s help may not be enough for Laney to get out alive…
