One Bite Per Night

Scandals with Bite, #2

One Bite Per Night is the long awaited for follow up of Bite Me, Your Grace. Ms. Ann has more than delivered on the promise of her first book. Her characters are three dimensional, funny, likeable, and engaging. The story line is unique and entertaining and she does a lovely job of reeling the reader in and keeping them guessing. I enjoyed the second book in the Scandal Bites series and can’t wait to see more from this author.

Vincent Tremayne, known as the reclusive “Devil Earl” has a lot on his plate. Between trying to reign in the local vampires and his duties as Lord Vampire of Cornwall there isn’t a lot of time to spare. He certainly doesn’t have time to spare to take care of an American debutante because of some centuries old vow to her family. But with honor at stake he has no recourse left to him but to take her on and become her guardian. Lydia Price has never met her English family, and she has little care for the fops or tons she finds herself confronted with. Instead she desires to follow her dreams of becoming a great painter and somehow capturing the attention of the dark, mysterious Vincent. As her dreams start to come true, she realizes that she should have been careful what she wished for because there is so much more to Vincent that she could have even imagined.

Book Blurb for One Bite Per Night

He wanted her off his hands... Now he'll do anything to hold on to her ...Forever.

Vincent Tremayne, the reclusive "Devil Earl," has been manipulated into taking rambunctious Lydia Price as his ward. As Lord Vampire of Cornwall, Vincent has better things to do than bring out an unruly debutante.

American-born Lydia Price doesn't care for the stuffy strictures of the ton, and is unimpressed with her foppish suitors. She dreams of studying with the talented but scandalous British portrait painter, Sir Thomas Lawrence. But just when it seems her dreams will come true, Lydia is plunged into Vincent's dark world and finds herself caught between the life she's known and a future she never could have imagined.
