Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea

Royal Entourage

Sophia Nash is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and for good reason her books are funny, original and charming. Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea is the kick off of the new Royal Entourage series and quickly plunges readers in to the world of Alexander Barclay, Duke of Kress and Roxanne Vanderhaven, Lady Paxton. Alexander is an impoverished Duke, and Roxanne is the unfortunate wife of Earl of Paxton who is trying to kill her. The two are quickly brought together when Alexander saves Roxanne’s life and then determines to help save her from her murdering husband. The two quickly bond and what ensues from there is very much like watching a classic Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn madcap movie. It’s wonderful and enthralling.

Both the primary and secondary characters work well together to make this book fun, witty and mad. The characters are well developed and keep the readers engaged wondering what they will do or say next. Fans of Sophia Nash will love this latest book and new readers will enjoy the first look of the Royal Entourage. The story is original and fun, a new twist on the Regency era and I for one can’t wait for more from Ms. Nash.

Book Blurb for Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea

Set the hit comedy, The Hangover, in England's Regency Era and what do you get?ÿ Between the Duke and the Deep Blue Sea, the first book in RITA Award-winner Sophia Nash's wickedly clever and wonderfully sensual Royal Entourage series. The author of Secrets of a Scandalous Bride, which was named by Booklist as one of the "Top Ten Romances of the Year," Nash delights readers once again by following the romantic exploits of the rogues of the royal entourage after a night of unheralded, and mostly unremembered, extravagance. Karen Hawkins, Elizabeth Boyle, and Victoria Alexander fans will be thrilled with this tantalizing tale of a duke exiled from London for certain undukelike behavior he cannot recall who stumbles into even more trouble when he is instantly captivated by an imperiled beauty he discovers hanging off of a cliff.
