An Amish Family Christmas

An Amish Family Christmas includes two Love Inspired stories. Heart of Christmas by Marty Perry tells the story of schoolteacher, Susannah Miller. She is struggling under the scrutiny of school board member, James Klein. He finds fault in everything she does. She prepares herself for two new students. However, she’s not prepared for the fact that their father is the man who broke her heart over 10 years ago. She’s determined to keep things professional between them, but this may be something out of her control.

In A Plain Holiday by Patricia David’s, Sally Yoder is spending her Rumspringa as a nanny to two small children. The parents decide that Sally and the kids will spend the holidays with their Amish grandmother. Sally is excited to live in her old ways until she realizes that Ben Lapp works nearby. She remembers how much he avoided her even though she grew to love him. But when they’re stranded in a snowstorm, Ben realizes that he was completely wrong about Sally.

Both of these stories are very inspiring and show the importance of family and friends. It is difficult for both Susannah and Sally because it seems they keep running into obstacles. But their strength and conviction are true testaments to their faith. Each woman learns forgiveness and how to heal. These heartwarming tales leave you wanting to know more about Susannah and Sally’s future.
