Untamed Highlander

A Dark Sword Novel, #3

Untamed Highlander was a joy to read. Hayden and Isla are great characters. They do not like each other at first, mostly because of the draw between them. Hayden hates druids because they killed his family and Isla is one. He has to learn that she is not completely a druid and that she is different than every other one. She is tied to their greatest enemy and he has to learn to trust her and come to understand and accept his possessive instincts for her. They are drawn to each other right away because they are meant to be together. Hayden wants to deny it because she is a druid, but any time she is threatened he loses it. Isla doesn't want to hurt anyone anymore and just wants to be free, even if it is through death. As they give in for their feelings their bond grows. Hayden doesn't want people to know what is going on between them and it hinders the relationship at first but they work past it. There is plenty of action throughout most of the story. It all runs very smoothly and fits well together. Nothing seems out of place in the plot. I loved the characters. They were so well written and it was easy to get caught up with each of them. I can't wait for more.
