To Desire a Wicked Duke was an amazing read. I absolutely loved it. There was suspense and it kept me guessing for most of the time and yet it was never too high. Once I started reading I did not want to put down the book. I wanted to find out what was going on and how the characters, especially Ian and Tess, were going to interact next. There was so much tension between Ian and Tess and yet there was so much feeling that they were denying or hiding for almost the entire book. They did not know how the other one felt and did not want to be vulnerable. Even though they were married they were still on the battle field and enemies, even though they kind of wanted a truce. I laughed at points in this book at the antics between Ian and Tess. Tess ran more than once and sent Ian chasing her, although in the end she did run back to Ian, but he was ready to chase after her again. There is a small return of the Loring sisters and Fanny plays a bigger role. I really enjoyed falling into the world that Nicole Jordan created. The love that is evident in this story comes across clearly and is great. I definitely recommend this story.
