Sealing the Deal

Sex Sells Series, Book 1

Sealing the Deal was an enjoyable read. It was very fast though.

Toby and Hudson have had a thing for each other for quite a while but because they were working together they couldn't do anything. On the last day of the job, after it is completed they get together. Hudson is a dominant and Toby is a sub. Hudson wants a contract with Toby and Toby has a hard time understanding what Hudson really wants. He has seen other slave contracts and would not be happy with that but he wants Hudson too much. Toby has a hard time thinking when he is around Hudson which creates some issues. It is interesting to watch Toby try and work through it. Hudson had not written a typical slave contract and they have to work through the issues that come up.

This story covers the time of one day but has a happy ending. I wish that the story had been longer and that I had been able to see more of Toby and Hudson together. The dialogue was good and it flowed. In some places it was a little rushed but I think that is just because it was so short. The sex was hot and there is sexual tension throughout the story, it never really stops. It is an integral part of the story and it is explicit. It does not take away from the story though. There are also plenty of emotions. I enjoyed reading the story.

Toby Garland understands contracts. As the best contract negotiator in the city, he’s built his life and his livelihood around his ability to push through any contract and seal any deal. All that amounts to nothing when Hudson Scott, the man he’s been fantasizing about for the last three months, offers him a BDSM slave contract in the middle of an office party.

Faced with the most important negotiation he will ever undertake, all Toby has to do is think clearly and treat it like any other contract he’s worked on. But it’s not that simple. This isn’t just any contract. Hudson isn’t just any dominant. And thinking clearly through a sea of arousal and submission has never been Toby’s strongest point.
