Reckless Passion

Reckless, Book 3

Reckless Passion is a good story. It is consistent throughout with emotions and storyline. The characters care for each other but have a hard time showing their deeper emotion.

Both Beau and Adam are scared of showing too much and being rejected. Neither one has ever felt the way that they do and they are worried about taking the next step. Adam also has to worry about his son. He knows that all of his decisions also affect his son directly. Adam wants to give his son the best that he can and always tries to put him first. Beau is prideful and it sometimes holds him back and stops him from showing what he truly feels, he doesn't want to become vulnerable. Adam doesn't feel that he is good enough for Beau and Beau doesn't know that he feels that way. Beau wants to take care of Adam but knows that Adam is prideful also and doesn't want to push him away. Beau and Adam have to settle and accept the emotions inside of them before they can share those emotions with the other person.

I enjoyed reading this story and getting a happy ending.

Beau Bradbury has it all. He’s good looking, owns a lucrative business, and has an endless supply of hunks vying for his attention. His skinny, uptight personal assistant shouldn’t rate a blip on his radar. Nevertheless, there’s just something about Adam that Beau can’t resist.

One night of drunken passion leads to nearly a year of secret trysts during office hours. Adam keeps his private life confidential, while Beau pretends to want nothing more than a good time. It’s a good arrangement, until a simple phone call ruins the status quo and makes Beau green with envy.

Frustrated that Adam might be seeing someone else, Beau tries to put his attraction to the younger man behind him. However, all that changes with the introduction of Adam’s son. Instantly charmed by the sweet little boy, Beau is all the more driven to claim Adam for his own. All he has to do is convince his wary lover to open his heart and trust that there’s more to Beau than his playboy persona suggests.
