Midnight Passions

Midnight Passions was a good read. It is very short and so harder to connect to the characters.

Colleen is dating Daryl at the start of the book and he is an absolute jerk. Colleen is lonely and in want of adult affection so she puts up with it and is in denial about how bad he treats her. Thankfully she gets rid of him. She starts to connect to her neighbor John but at first doesn't believe that he is attracted or even likes her. But John soon takes care of that. There is a lot of sex considering the length of the story. Feelings grow quickly from the chemistry. John is a good guy and so is his brother. There are quite a few twists and turns for the reader in this story, all enjoyable.

Book Blurb for Midnight Passions

Living as a single mom doesn't give Colleen much opportunity for romance, and when her only shot with Daryl goes sour, she reluctantly settles for a good book borrowed from her neighbor. What handsome John neglects to tell her, though, is that his library is filled with titles of magical quality - open the book and you're in the story!

When Colleen finds a book on John's shelf called "Midnight Passions," she realizes reading is fundamental...for her sex life.
