Insatiable was a great story. I really enjoyed the characters. Shawn and Rachel have been best friends their entire life and Shawn has been in love with her and known it for a very long time. Rachel on the other hand is under the impression that he does see her like that and so has suppressed her own feelings for him that way. She is going on vacation to see her ex and Shawn chooses this moment to make his move. At first Rachel doesn't believe him because of the timing and she is also afraid that it has something to do with their family's pressures and expectations. Shawn has a lot on work to do to get her to believe him. He follows her to New York and continues to tell and show her that he loves her. Shawn and Rachel are very believable characters that are a depth of feeling for one another. Rachel has to get over her attachment to going in the opposite directions of whatever her parents want. It is her choice whether she loves Shawn or not but she shouldn't deny it just because her parents would like for her to be with him. At times I want to knock sense into both of them on their journey but it does work out. Tragedy strikes, pretty much like real life. They have to move on and continue with their lives. The story flows smoothly. The sex is hot, pretty explicit and in some interesting places. All of it is done with love though, even if Rachel is in denial.

Length: Novel

Having all of her is the only thing that will satisfy him...

Shawn Griffin and Rachel Cooper have been best friends practically since birth, thanks to their families’ close relationship. But for the past few years, Shawn has been fantasizing about getting his best pal in his bed. When she announces she’s taking a trip to reconnect with an old lover, Shawn knows the time has come to put up or shut up. If she wants to go to New York City, fine. But he’s coming with her.

Rachel doesn’t know what to think of Shawn’s sudden interest. Determined to live life on her own terms, she refuses to fall right in line with her wealthy family’s wish that they get married and have perfect little babies. She just didn’t count on how determined her seemingly laid back -- and extremely sexy -- best friend would become after setting his sights on what he wants. Her, over and over again.

But when tragedy strikes, Rachel begins to wonder if she’ll lose not only her lover but her best friend too.
