Guilty Pleasures

Pleasures Series

Guilty Pleasures was a really good read. It is written differently than the other pleasure books but not too differently. It focuses on five different people, only one of them a new character. It is really great to get to interact with the same characters again and catch up with what is going on in their lives. These are short stories but it never feels rushed or incomplete. These stories are hot and very explicit. The channel is everything that it has been in past books and for those that it's new to it is a place where any fantasy can come true, you just have to think it up. There are multiple times where there are more than one sex partner active. For the most part there is no love between the characters and their fantasy lovers, it is about sex and living out their fantasy.

I loved the dialogue in this story. It fits into the "real world" and in every fantasy. Bertrice Small writes so that it feels like you are there with the character that you are reading about then. This is an easy book to lose yourself in and just enjoy. You do not need to have read the previous books in the pleasure series but it would definitely add to your pleasure and enjoyment if you had.

Book Blurb for Guilty Pleasures

Carla, Tiffany, Nina, and J.P. have already gotten major play on The Channel, a secret, women-only interactive cable network. Now they'll carry out even more fantasies with a collection of seductive characters they would only meet in their dreams...

The women entangle themselves with pirates, sultans, regency rakes, and even movie stars. And then there's Maureen Flynn, new to The Channel. She's an au pair from Ireland whose fantasy of choice is with a brawny Celtic warrior. Will he turn her on to The Channel like those that came before her?
