A Little Wild

A Little Wild was a great read. I really enjoyed the characters and the storyline.

Tess has focused on her career for years. She does not want to open her heart to men and risk getting hurt. All of the men that she dates have been men that are no threat to her falling in love with them. Her best friend wants her to find a guy that she is actually really attracted to and dares her to do it while in the bar. She was supposed to flirt with him and then give him her number. She chooses Zach but she does not plan to go all the way through with the dare. She hands him a fake number but that is not the end of it. Tess gets a call from him later on that she was not expecting to get. They have an immediate connection and because of this Tess wants to stay away from him but Zach does not want her to, won't allow her and she has a hard time continually denying him.

The story is written well. There is enough action that keeps the story going without it slowing down at all. I loved the interactions between Tess and Zach. They have a lot more in common than you would think with just a quick glance. They are definitely funny moments between them. The sex is explicit and happens fairly often. It does not take away from the story but instead adds to it. There is emotion involved the entire time, even if some of it is being denied. This story was great. It kept my attention the entire time and I didn't want to put it down.

Book Blurb for A Little Wild

She wants a piece of his rock. He needs her, rock steady, in his heart.

Tess Sheridan won’t let anything stop her from making partner at a prestigious law firm, especially her notoriously soft heart. The result? She’s a handful of clients away from getting her name on that brass plate. And she hasn’t had sex in over a year.

When her best friend dares her to test-drive her erotic fantasies with a gorgeous stranger, she figures, why not? Loosening the reins will give her inner nympho some well-deserved pampering without jeopardizing her career goals.

Zach Halliday has enjoyed his bad-boy reputation to the fullest, but now it’s time to leave the relative safety of the family corporation and prove he can stand on his own in the business world. That doesn’t mean he’ll pass up an opportunity for some incredible phone sex with the beautiful strawberry blonde he met in a bar.

When business overlaps with the bedroom, Zach sees something special in Tess and is determined to convince her he’s the man she needs, anytime, anyplace. She can backpedal, but come hell or high-climbing-wall, he wants the fascinating, complicated sex bomb in his bed. Over and over again…Warning: This book contains explicit, melt-your-panties sex (phone and otherwise), and inappropriate use of wild cherry ice cream. Insights on rejuvenating your own inner nympho may be inspired upon reading.
