“My Forever Home,” is a lovely, easy, and wholesome story that animal lovers are sure to enjoy. As a dog lover and someone who has rescued my pup pack I found this story to be heartwarming. I love a good animal story and the dogs definitely made this book for me.
Tess, the heroine was my favorite character. I favored her character as well as her devotion to the rescued dogs that she worked with daily. Tess had motivation and she was a dog person so for me Tess was a win. I can’t say the same thing for Mason, the hero.
Mason felt out place in the book. He was a bit of a bore and his individual character selections did not add much to the story. His relationship with Tess wasn’t exciting and I felt like he and Tess didn’t really belong together. I didn’t like this book based on the romance but I did like the story itself.
I haven’t read the previous books in this series and I doubt I will. However, this book was a nice evening read cuddled with my own pack and I do not have any regrets in giving this story a try.
Love comes to the rescue

What Tess doesn't know is that Mason is recovering from an accident, hoping to get back to his pro-baseball career. He's afraid the truth will ruin everything-and he's right.
