Once Haunted

This is a sometimes funny, sometimes creepy, and always sexy story. Kiera and Jaden both still grieve for Kiera's sister and Jaden's fiancée Haley, who was murdered a year ago. Haley comes back to tell them to get over it and get together, or there will be dire consequences.

Haley is pushy and determined, and she is on a mission to make up for her self-serving life. She knows that she was never the person Jaden needed. This ghost makes me laugh, and I can feel her sincerity coming through.

Haley and Jaden are perfect for each other, in and out of the bedroom. The sex scenes are hot, and the way they try to protect and comfort each other is sweet.

There are more villains than heroes in this story, so the lovers and their ghostly advisor are constantly busy. I like this book, including the ending, when Haley is set up to star in a sequel. I would love to read that one as well.

Book Blurb for Once Haunted

Length: Novel
A year ago, Kiera's sister was murdered. Now, Haley's back. As a ghost. And she has a message for Kiera: Jaden, Haley's ex-fiancé, is Kiera's soulmate. More than that, Kiera has six months to get him to fall in love with her or the two of them will be eternally alone. But why would Jaden be in love with a plain Jane like her? Haley says she'll provide ghostly pointers. All Kiera has to do is let Jaden see her kinky side.
Since Haley's death, Jaden's been emotionally paralyzed. His father's gotten sick of it. He gives Jaden an ultimatum: marry within six months or else he and his disabled brother will be disinherited. If it was just him, Jaden wouldn't care, but his brother needs the money. So Jaden goes to good friend Kiera to complain—and finds her dressed like a sex siren and discovers she's damned good in bed. Not only that, but she offers to marry him.
Now Kiera's got six months to turn a marriage of convenience into a love match and free her sister from purgatory before Kiera's obsessive boss succeeds in killing Jaden.
