Working It

Ringside Romance Book 1

How far is too far? This is the question Zack has to ask himself in this office romance. Zack is the boss. Nolan is his employee. This romance is set within corporate America where sexual harassment is a real problem. But these characters are so much more than just boss and employee. They have dreams, goals and issues that are very much outside the work environment. As they struggle to figure out where they are headed and how to deal with their lives, a romance blooms that no one expected. Not only did I fall in love with the characters but I was totally involved with their lives. This is a story that I didn’t want to put down and I didn’t want it to end either. This is the first book in a trilogy about 3 men who grew up and found their salvation in a gym. While all the books stand alone, I found reading them in order was much more satisfying. This is a terrific romance that addresses real world problems. However, there is a happy ending and two more friends to find their men. Once you read this book, you’ll find yourself wondering if Zack’s dreams come true.

Nolan knows he needs to find a job but he has anxiety issues he deals with. At least this time he’s made it to the interview. Zack never expected to find himself being checked out in the bathroom at work! And, he especially didn’t expect to find himself helping the man out. This is totally out of character for him. Even more out of character was when he went into HR and told them to hire the man as his new admin. Nolan doesn’t know what is going on but he is going to do the best he can at this new job. The fact that the men are attracted to each other shouldn’t interfere with work, should it?

The Ringside Romance stories can be read on their own or enjoyed in series order.

Nolan Carmichael is getting a fresh start—new career, new company, new life. The only problem is, he liked his old life just fine . . . until an accident robbed him of his health, his job, his self-confidence, and his ability to go out in public without having anxiety attacks.

Zack Anderson has scared away his last four executive assistants. So when he hires Nolan on a whim, he’s not too worried, since Nolan will be gone within the week anyway. Two weeks later, Nolan has made himself indispensable, completely reforming Zack’s schedule, life . . . and libido.

But in a company already torn by internal politics, one wrong step could ruin both their careers. And not only are they working to reopen Ringside Gym, Zack’s retreat when he was a troubled teen, but they also can’t help themselves falling for each other. If only the rest of their lives could go as smoothly as things do when they’re alone together.
