What a Woman Needs

A Manley Maids Novel, #2

OMG I loved this book. What woman doesn’t have the fantasy of a handsome man coming over to clean their house? Okay, that thought aside, this book was so down to earth from Beth trying to clean her house prior to the maid coming over to sibling bickering. Everything came across as believable and natural. The characters are awesome. Bryan doesn’t do the I’m a movie star look at me but I’m helping out my sister. Past events affect their lives and the real world interacts with them. This book is part of a series about the Manley Maids but it definitely can stand alone. A little introduction explains how the three Manley brothers ended up being maids for a month for their sister. After that, it’s off to each brother’s story. Each story is unique. I loved that this story included an older woman and kids. Also, the struggle on how to juggle family, fame and work commitments was so well done. This story just swept me away and I’m not sure I want to return.

Beth’s friends decided she needed a month to relax so they hired Manley Maids to send over a maid for a month. Beth is sure the maid will take one look at the tornado that goes through her house daily and run. After all, 5 kids, a dog, a cat and a hamster can be intimidating to most people. Bryan lost a bet to his sister and now has to be a maid for 30 days. It’s not like he doesn’t know how to clean, their grandmother made sure they all knew how to clean when they were children. But, when Bryan knocks on his client’s door, he doesn’t expect to fall into lust of the client and he sure didn’t expect to find out she’s a widow with 5 kids. Really, she should be off limits, right?
