Until There Was Us

Montgomery Brothers, #7

Life’s plans and dreams are put to the test in this contemporary romance. Family influences are definitely at work and breaking loose of family expectations are part of the struggle Megan feels as she fights against the strong attraction she feels towards Alex. Both, Alex and Megan, are well thought out characters who are strong in their beliefs and lives. This story is part of a series but can be read without having read any other book in the series. However, you may find that you want to read the other stories after reading this one. The characters really draw you into their lives. In fact, you feel as if you are part of the story and in the lives of the characters. I loved the ups and downs. The struggle to follow a dream or to compromise was interesting and I wasn’t sure how it was going to end up. I found this to be a fantastic story that really kept my interest.

Megan and Alex met at a wedding and immediately hit it off to the point of having a hot steamy weekend that neither has forgotten. When Megan lands a dream job within her cousin’s company she knows she’s going to have to work at avoiding Alex. She doesn’t have time for a relationship which will distract her from her goals and dreams. Alex doesn’t exactly agree and is going to do everything in his power to change her mind. Who is going to win and what is it that they will win?
