Threat of Raine

Book 2 in The Lynch Brothers Series

Talk about ultimate betrayal! This betrayal carries over to a new problem and more issues. This novella starts off with a bang and continues with dark demons. Family and friends play a big part in "Threat of Raine". Loren originally had me wondering about him until I realized that the first time he was interacting with Raine he was only 18. Though he was already an experienced Hunter, he was only 2 years older than her. Raine is a strong young woman who has goals and dreams that no longer include Loren. Though this story is short it is packed full of action and interest. The past influences the present and the present will influence the future as Loren and Raine fight for their lives. This is the second story in this series about 3 brothers. While you don’t need to read the first book to enjoy this one, you may want to read it anyway first. Now that the older two brothers have found someone, I wonder if the youngest will or perhaps Loren’s partner.

The Story: Loren has met up with his brothers when his youngest brother was being held for ransom. Now, that he’s freed, Loren is dealing with meeting up with Raine, a girl he left 2 years ago. Raine wants nothing to do with him but when a demon threatens to kill her, Loren has no choice but to step in. He knows he can’t kill the demon but can he send him back to hell? What about Raine?

Book Blurb for Threat of Raine

The last time I kissed Raine, she nearly died. I’ve stayed away for five years, making sure she was safe from me, safe from the creatures I hunt. Now, there’s a demon chasing me who wants revenge.

His sights are locked on Raine.

My ex, who disappeared five years ago, just showed up, kidnapped my best friend, and told me I’m some rare breed of witch. Oh, don’t forget there’s a demon after me. But I’m not the meek little girl he remembers.

I’m not going down without a fight.

This is the second novella in The Lynch Brothers Series. While it can be read as a standalone, it's best read after Hunting Witch Hazel. Suggested reading age is 18+ for language and some sexual content. Please note, this is a short story.
