This Is Our Song

The Shaughnessy Brothers, #4

This is a fantastic romance that has the hot rock star running back to his family for help. No, he’s not a mama’s boy but he knows when he gets in over his head. That rockstar is Riley Shaughnessy. Savannah is a reporter who is sure Riley can’t be as good as his reputation has him. She’s sure she will be uncovering things no one else can or would. This combination has emotional charge written all over it and the sparks start flying almost from the start. It was super easy to fall in love with both characters.

In fact, it didn’t take long before I was so wrapped up in this story that I was shocked when it ended. I just wasn’t ready to let go. On a good note though, there are books about all of the Shaughnessy siblings, or, I suspect there will be. This is great as this family is awesome. This book does stand alone and you do not have to read the previous book to love and understand this one. However, you will find it super easy to fall in love with the Shaughnessy family and want to know more about them immediately.

Riley’s band is doing sold out shows but he wants to go out on his own. The problem is, Riley is in a slump and way behind on his solo album. He just can’t seem to get the music to come which frustrates him to no end. It’s been arrange for him to give an exclusive interview to a top entertainment magazine. He’s not wanting to do it when he learns it’s not a quick question and answer session tries to get out of it. Savannah is getting ready to do an in depth series of articles when she is pulled to do an interview on Riley Shaughnessy. She is not thrilled. She doesn’t want to do it. With neither having a choice, they are going to have to figure this interview out. What neither expected was the chemistry between them! Now, what?

She knows him by reputation

Riley Shaughnessy knew that to stand out in his large family, he'd have to go big. Making a name for himself as a musician wasn't easy, but he followed his dreams to rock-star success. But the relentless expectations of fans is not helping the slump he's in now. So of course the person who attracts him is the woman who is not impressed by fame.

Which gives Riley Shaughnessy a lot to prove

Entertainment reporter Savannah Daly is completely unfazed by pretty-boy rock stars. She's just here to get her interview and write her story. But spending an entire month with the Shaughnessys is going to show Savannah a side of Riley she never could have guessed.
