The Dragon King

Ethereal Foes, #4

This is an excellent addition to Marie Hart’s Ethereal Foes series. If you haven’t read the previous stories, this one might confuse you for a bit but just go with the flow. It really does come together. From a two year old dragon king to demons and angels, this book is full of mythical and magical creatures who must come together to save the world. Strangely, it is the two year old who will lead them all because he is after all the dragon king. But, this book is more than just saving the world. It is the coming together of 4 and the mating of 3. Fights, revelations and even some hot sex scenes make this story an outstanding one that you may have to read more than once to get all the details. That’s not to say that you won’t be able to follow the story but that it’s so complex that I’m sure there is more than you’re going to notice in the first reading. However, each reading will be awesome so it’s no hardship! Yeah, the whole series is like this. The world developed is unique and diverse. It’s also fun and changeable. Yeah, I loved this book and high recommend it and the entire series.

Jentaron may only be 2 and more laid back than the last dragon ruler but he knows his power and knows that he has a mission that only he can do. As things in the underworld start going crazy, it is learned that chaos can be found at all levels. Danger is coming and Jentaron will be leading the defense. But, as he travels to the Ordinary realm, he discovers his mate but she is with a demon. What is going on?

Book Blurb for The Dragon King

What good is being king if you can’t burn your own rules?

Ethereal Foes, Book 4

In the two years since Jentaron hatched, he’s grown into an adult blue dragon full of the knowledge of his royal predecessors. He’s a true king, even if the other denizens of the Ethereal, those demons, havoc, angels and the like, continue to test him.

But he’s got heavier worries. Namely, an unspeakable danger that threatens all life as the planet knows it. He can feel it, can sense that he’s got a bigger role to play than just pissing off the Ethereal.

With the blood elves and havoc making more trouble than usual, magic no longer flowing freely in the Abyss, and angels massacring everything demonic they can get their holy hands on, the Balance has reached a tipping point. Time to take charge before the rules change.

What’s a dragon to do but create his own chaos? He’ll take a mate or two, instill fear where needed, and finally return dragonkind to the Ordinary—the human lands—where a dragon will decide the fate of the worlds.

Because he’s king, and he says so.

Warning: Contains a dragon king challenged by a devious demon and an alluring, not-so-human human. Expect carnal hunger only a king can satisfy, and heat only a dragon can generate.
