The Christmas Horse and the Three Wise Men

This story is another version of the magi traveling to Bethlehem. However, in a creative twist, this story is from a horse’s point of view. Ms. Brent, the author, took several traditional thoughts of how the magi traveled and came up with a horse, a camel and an elephant. Each magi and each animal has it’s own strength as they make the journey following the star. Bright, colorful pictures enhance the story allowing imaginations to wonder with the magi. Traditional Bible verses are spread throughout sharing the centuries old story. At the end of the story, Ms. Brent shares where she came up with the idea of the three animals. I can truly see young children enjoying this horse’s story. I know I plan on sharing it with the 3 year old grandson as we celebrate the wonder of the season. This is a terrific book to show this part of the Christmas story.
