Shelby's Secret

Once a Marine, Always a Marine, #4

This was a very enjoyable romantic suspense. I loved that the characters knew each other prior and followed their dreams. Each was fantastic in their own right and each had a life. Though they were lovers in the past, that didn’t mean jumping right in bed with each other in the present. I loved how the characters from previous books in this series were incorporated into this story naturally and in a way that made perfect sense. It also showed the tight bond that these men had which was terrific. The mystery murderer was done very well with just the right twists. I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end and wonder why I haven’t read more of this series.

Shelby Lynn left Phoenix to follow her dreams of becoming a country music star and she found them. Now, she’s ready to retire but wants to finish her dream in her home town. Soon though she is getting videos depicting her early music videos starring dead women that look somewhat like her. Mike’s dream was to be a Marine, which he also did before joining the police department. Now, thrown together, will their love rekindle and will the murderer be found?
