Saison for Love

Brewing Love, 2

Family, friends and even exes combine in this small resort town romance. The characters in "Saison for Love" all have lives and things to do, which means there is plenty of room for confusion. Liam is positive he wants to move on to bigger and better things. Ruth is just trying to keep her business together. Ruth is Liam’s sister’s good friend while Liam helps his sister in her brewery. There is lots of overlapping but each character is well defined and developed. The resort town of Antero does come alive. Even though some of the solutions to some of the problems were obvious, others were not. And even knowing the solutions didn’t stop me from enjoying the story. I really enjoyed it. This is the second book in the Brewing Love series. The first book was about Liam’s sister. But, this story definitely stands alone and is worth reading. Now, if I could just find that Red Ale……

Liam is a good bartender and liked the bar he is working in until recently. Now, it’s as if the owner doesn’t care and the quality of everything is going downhill fast. For now the tourists will keep it making money but not for much longer. That’s why Liam is moving on….that and the fact that he will be learning some management in his new position. Another month, and he’s gone. When his sister’s friend, Ruth comes in for a drink, Liam is shocked how good she looks. He’s also a little confused about the attraction he feels. Ruth isn’t looking for a relationship but can she do a one night stand with her friend’s brother?

Book Blurb for Saison for Love

Liam Dempsey isn’t long for Antero. The bar where he’s been working is going downhill fast, and it’s time for him to move on. Even if moving on means moving from Colorado to Utah and leaving his sister and fledgling brewery behind. He’s not interested in forming any attachments before he leaves in a month, but after a sexy hook-up with his sister’s friend, he finds himself unsure where his future stands.

The last thing Ruth Colbert needs is something else on her plate. She has a restaurant to run, a chef to replace, and a cranky twelve-year-old to raise, but a steamy night with Liam was just what she needed. The only problem is, now she wants more, if only she could find the time for him. Just when things seem to be working out and she can see a possible future with Liam, someone from her past shows up to throw another wrench into everything.
