Gunny Sergeant Jasmine, Jazz, Winters definitely doesn’t look like a marine; she looks like a sexy woman. This is exactly what Jazz wants to portray as she goes to meet the men that she’s going to spend the night with having sex. It’s not often she gets to indulge in her feminine side and she plans on taking full advantage of this evening planned fun and games.
Logan Cavanaugh and Zack Evans have been best friends since childhood. They have done everything together from climbing trees to joining the marines. They’ve shared women in the past but haven’t for a few years. Logan was engaged to get married when he was injured by an IED. After intense physical therapy, Logan can walk but he’s convinced that he’ll never love a woman again after his ex-fiancé’s comments. The doctors are sure his sexual problems are psychosomatic and Zack is going to prove it to Logan. He knows Logan won’t attempt to have sex with a woman by himself so they are going to share a woman.
Set up by 1NightStand, each person is going into this with their own expectations. Will they achieve them or will the evening become a bust?
This is part of the 1 Night Stand series. None of the books are directly related or interlinked. Each revolves around one night and this one is no different. The meeting is set up and the participants do not always know who is going to show up yet they encounters always work. None of these stories are long; this one is less than 40 pages but there is always a lot of story in those few pages.
The characters are terrific. Jazz comments that the guys she works with would probably laugh at her red painted toe nails. After all, she’s known as being a hard nose Gunny Sergeant. Zack really cares about Logan and that comes across with his actions and words. They are more than friends, they are like brothers. Logan has lost the image that he’s always had of himself. His self confidence is shaken as he tries to figure out exactly who the new Logan is.
The fact that these are tough marines makes for an interesting background. Female marines are seen as tough and to see a softer side made Jazz feel real and womanly. Dealing with war injuries and traumas is also extremely realistic. Things aren’t the same and yet they are. Sometime even something as simple as having sex becomes to hard to deal with.
The sex scenes are explicit and graphic. They also feel right. Expect to feel as if you’re right there in bed with these marines because that’s how close to the action you are.
This story doesn’t end with a happily ever after but a happy for now and possibly in the future. For people who work in a profession where tomorrow isn’t a guarantee this makes sense. Besides, they just met! Who knows what is going to develop?
I really liked this 1 Night Stand. From the first page until the last I was glued to my kindle. The characters were interesting. The sex was hot. The situations were realistic. And there was a whole lot of story shoved into less than 40 pages and I enjoyed every word.
She's one of the few…
Jazz has been one of the guys for over a decade, serving her country with distinction, but she longs to explore her femininity, to be desired as a woman, to flirt, cavort and fulfill every sexual desire. When her mother of all people, signs her up for a 1Night Stand, she's not sure whether to be exhilarated or pissed. Flying to Las Vegas on the promise of a total escape, Jazz plans to be Jasmine for just one night, because tomorrow, she plans to re-up for another five years.
They're two of the proud…
Logan Cavanaugh grew up across the street from his best friend and brother-in-arms, Zach Evans. Inseparable, the two have shared everything, including women, until the year before when an IED attack during combat injured both of them. Zach suffered a concussion, but Logan's injuries were far more extensive. After a year of physical therapy, he can walk, but he'll never run or love a woman again, or so he fears. He’s ready to accept his impotence, but Zach has other ideas. He hopes a 1Night Stand date with the perfect woman will heal Logan's confidence and masculinity.
They're all Marines…
They’ll share each other, but will one night be enough?
